Colleen Bowen is a graduate of the University of California Santa Cruz with a BA in Studio Art as well as History of Art and Visual Culture.
She works in many traditional media-from watercolors, pen and ink, stone and plate lithography, copper plate intaglio, block printing, acrylics, and design markers.
Her imagination is unbridled. She mixes the real with the otherworldly. Influenced by astronomy, biology, sociology and the established art world, she strives to expand the collective consciousness through visual imagery and humor.
